Summer Intern: Business Development
AgencySacks is seeking a strategic, proactive intern to assist with new business development, prospect management, and outreach. The Business Development intern will work directly with the agency President and other key stakeholders on all New Business initiatives and sales efforts for the agency. Along with prospect outreach, this role will also be tasked with leading development of new business pitch materials and agency operational processes and documents. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a team to drive impact in a high exposure role, and will be a great fit for someone that wants to be part of new business development, is interested in sales, and has a passion for luxury brands.
Internship is unpaid, however interns will receive a monthly Metro card and we are willing to offer this internship for credit. Full time availability preferred. June-August (date flexible).

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
Has strong writing, research, and documentation skills
Is an organized and highly reliable problem solver
Is driven and proactive, and excels in a fast-paced environment
Can work well independently as well as in cross-functional teams to formulate creative solutions to challenges
Is flexible, engaging, and a self-starter capable of managing multiple projects as well as senior team members
Communicates clearly and with confidence, strong presentation skills
Has an ability to make cold calls with professional phone voice
Ability to meet tight deadlines and be flexible as long hours are necessary while preparing for a pitch
Keen eye for good layout, design and exceptional attention to detail
Is comfortable with the complete Microsoft office suite and Apple IOs, specifically Keynote
Experience with business development, prospecting, and lead nurturing is a plus
TASKS MAY INCLUDE
Coordinating and following up on all initiatives as assigned by new business lead and President
Developing prospect lists, category brand research and brand analysis
Project management of all new business materials and coordination with creative and production teams and timeline supervision
Maintaining and managing the company’s new business mailing lists and e-mail blasts
Setting up and maintaining New Business databases and files of written materials for quick and easy access for RFP process
Assisting with operations process documentation
General research and competitive analysis
Contacting and tracking potential prospects as part of the lead nurturing process
Multitasking while proactively seeking opportunities to support the team
