Summer Intern: Graphic Designer
AgencySacks is seeking a hardworking, creative graphic design intern. Learn what it’s like to work in a fast-paced NYC agency serving high-end clients and hone your skills while supporting our creative team on pitch and client deliverables such as presentations, collateral, brand building assets, and campaign work for both print and digital.
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable agency experience. Internship is unpaid, however interns will receive a monthly Metro card and we are willing to offer this internship for credit. Full time availability preferred. June-August (dates are flexible).
AgencySacks is a boutique agency located in Manhattan focusing on marketing for high-end brands in the consumer goods, real estate, and travel industries. THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
Is currently enrolled in an undergraduate design program (rising Seniors preferred)
Has strong conceptual skills and high-end design sense
Has an eye for detail and respect for specs
Is skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Is an organized and highly reliable problem solver
Has a passion for all things print, digital, and social web
Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Can work well independently as well as in cross-functional teams to formulate creative solutions to client needs
Is flexible, engaging, and a self-starter capable of managing multiple projects
Communicates clearly and with confidence
TASKS MAY INCLUDE
Helping to create clear and engaging graphic communications for all forms of media whether it be print, social, or digital. Examples: Email pieces, branded promotional items, web ads, social media graphics, and other marketing materials as needed
Assisting with sourcing or creating campaign assets and building our creative asset library
Reviewing final artwork for design details and specs: proofing and editing
Versioning and adapting creative templates to new executions or orientations
Multitasking while proactively seeking opportunities to support the team
